By creating an account or using Markum (operated by Leonenko Group LLC), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our service. These terms apply to all users, including free trial users, paid subscribers, and visitors to our public pages.
Markum is a client approval portal that allows freelancers and agencies to share project deliverables with clients via magic links and collect timestamped, IP-logged approvals. Key features include:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to up to 3 projects. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of your trial, you must upgrade to a paid plan to continue creating new projects. Existing projects and their approval records remain accessible.
You may only create one trial account per person. Creating multiple accounts to extend trial access is a violation of these terms and may result in account termination.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan interval you select.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period - no prorated refunds are issued for partial periods unless required by law.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. After repeated failures, your account may be downgraded to the trial plan.
You agree not to use Markum to:
Violation of acceptable use may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
Your content: You retain all ownership of the deliverables, files, and text you upload to Markum. By using our service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Our service: Markum, its logo, design, code, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Leonenko Group LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our service without written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
The audit trail Markum provides is intended as a good-faith record of approval events. While we take technical measures to ensure its integrity, it does not constitute a legally binding contract or guarantee enforceability in all jurisdictions.
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your access to the service ends at the close of your current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, non-payment, or other reasons at our discretion. We will provide notice where practicable unless the violation requires immediate action to protect other users or the integrity of the service.
Upon account deletion, we will permanently remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which Leonenko Group LLC operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. If changes are material, we will notify you via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Markum after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
